VIRTUAL CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES
COVID-19 Changes/ Updates
The MREC Education Committee has received and reviewed comments pertaining to the future of education during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been determined, further clarification is needed. This document supersedes previous information put out regarding education. The changes are temporary, and the procedures will revert back to what was in place prior to the State of Emergency, 60 days after the State of Emergency is lifted.
Continuing Education Guidelines (for previously approved in-person classes):
• Live streaming of continuing education is permitted on any platform.
• Schools must obtain all student’s consent to record the sessions.
• Schools must record all sessions.
• Schools should limit enrollment to no more than 20 students.
• All students must have their cameras on (no camera, no class credit).
• Current class time duration standards, as well as advertising guidelines, remain in force.
• There is no quiz or exam required at the end of the class.

Tues., July 13, 2021 - 6-7:30pm – Legislative Update - 2021 (A) - 1.5hrs. (Course #102-1644) - $20
7:30-9pm – Fair Housing Update (C) - 1.5hrs. (Course #095-1644) - $20
Continuing Education Requirements
ALL Licensees need a minimum of 15 Hours for License Renewal
3Hrs. Each of Legal/Legislative (A), Ethics (D) and Agency (H) + 1.5 Hrs. Fair Housing (C) + 4.5 Hrs. (Other)
Required for Brokers, Branch Office Mgr. & Team Leaders = A, C, D, H + 3 Hrs. Supervision (I) + 1.5 Hrs. (Other)
VIRTUAL PRE-LICENSING COURSE - Spring 2021
(APPROVED BY THE MARYLAND REAL ESTATE COMMISSION)
This is a 60 hour course that meets the requirements for obtaining a Real Estate License.
